RELATIVE VISAS
Remaining Relative Visa Subclass 115 and 835
This unique visa allows the Last Remaining Relative of an immediate family to reside with the rest of their family in Australia. This visa is a permanent resident visa. This visa requires a family member to sponsor the applicant.
Aged Dependant Relative Visa Subclass 114 and 838
The Aged Dependant Relative Visa allows individuals who are of pension age to live in Australia as a permanent resident. There is a certain criteria that the visa applicant must meet in order to be considered “dependent”. The visa application does require sponsorship by an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen family member.
Orphan Relative Visas
Orphan Relative Visa subclass 117 and 837
Australian citizens, permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens may be able to sponsor their minor family members to join them in Australia with the Orphan Relative Visa. This visa is open to children under the age of 18, and in certain situations, dependent children up until the age of 23. Legal guardians must sponsor their family members.
Carers Visa Subclass 116 and 836
The Carers Visa allows a relative of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to permanently move to Australia in order to care for a family member who has no other reasonable option of care. There are certain criteria that needs to be met by the sponsor in order to successfully sponsor an eligible visa applicant.
