SKILLED WORK REGIONAL (PROVISIONAL) 491 VISA

The Skilled Regional visa is a temporary visa that offers three pathways for skilled workers who want to work and live in regional Australia.

This visa is a suitable option for skilled workers who have the relevant qualifications or skills, but cannot meet the points tests for a skilled independent visa or Nominated visa (Subclass 189 and 190). A 491 visa allows applicants to stay in Australia for up to four years, through a state sponsorship.
