STATE NOMINATION 190 VISA

The Skilled Independent visa is a permanent residence visa for skilled workers who want to work and live in Australia permanently, in an occupation that is on the Skilled Occupation Lists (SOL).

Visa applicants do not need to be sponsored by an employer, family member, or a State or Territory Government, and they can apply and receive the visa from inside or outside of Australia.

This visa is based on a points test and is only available to applicants who have been invited by the Department after submitting an Expression of Interest.
